The Village of Mukwonago is a fast growing community.  Many new subdivisions are being constructed, enhancing the demographic of the Village and paving the way for new commercial construction.  The new Gateway District (Tax Incremental District #3 (TID #3)) was created for large commercial companies as well as a future Industrial Park and some residential properties.  The Village is growing on the North side with residential and commercial properties being proposed, on the West and East sides with residential properties and on the South side with the Gateway District.

 

Below is a list of current major Residential (i.e. Subdivisions, Condo Projects), Commercial and Industrial Developments that have either been submitted for proposal to the Village, are in the process of being reviewed or approved by the Village or are now in the development stage.  Also included are some Village projects that have been proposed, discussed, reviewed and/or approved by the Village and the status of each.

 

This page does not include conceptual plans submitted to the Village because plans change often.  Instead, this page ONLY includes plans that have been formally submitted for full review and approval.

Miniwaukan Park Walking Trail

About the Project - http://www.ruekert-mielke.com/News_Events/newsItem.aspx?id=4652 The walking trail will provide an ADA-accessible asphalt connection from the existing parking lot to the many natural features of the park. Measures will be taken during construction to ensure the preservation of the many mature oak and hickory trees on the site, and to prevent any negative impacts to the Mukwonago River.

Mukwonago Shores Project

About the Project - Water mains, storm sewer, road excavation and grading, curb and gutter, driveways and pavement have all been installed on Andrews Street, Blood Street, Shore Drive, Lois Street and Henry Street and throughout the rest of the Mukwonago Shores subdivision.

Status and Completion Date - Phases 1 is complete.  Phases 2 and 3 are near completion, with only sod replacement, the placement of the final lift of asphalt, and completion of the punch-list yet to be done in the near future.

 

Oakland Ranch Area Project

About the Project - http://www.ruekert-mielke.com/resources/index.aspx?id=3804 The Village of Mukwonago has started the process to reconstruct the streets in the Oakland Ranch neighborhood.  The streets that will be affected by this project are:

1)  Oakland Avenue, from Grand Avenue to Fox Street (CTH ES)

2)  Locust Street, South of Oakland Avenue

3)  Cedar Street, North of Fox Street (CTH ES)

4)  Service Road, West of Maple Street and parallel to Fox Street (CTH ES)

The project involves reconstructing the existing roadway to provide curb and gutter, sidewalk and storm sewer.  In addition, the water main, hydrants, and services will be replaced.  There may be some sanitary sewer rehabilitation work done as part of the project.

West Side Avenue/Gibson Street/Spring Street Paving and Utilities Project
