Winter Parking Regulation in Effect Remember, if you park your vehicle on the street between November 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011, you are required to obtain a parking permit from the Mukwonago Police Department.
During this time period, 30-minute-parking-only is permitted on street between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. On even dates, you must park on the even side of the street, and on odd dates, you must park on the odd side of the street. If you live in a subdivision where it is one-side parking all the time, you must park on that side every night.
The cost for permits is $35.00 for the season or $8.00 per month. Permits MUST be posted where they are visible to the police officer (lower driver side corner of the dashboard not covered by the vehicle identification number).
If you do not have a parking permit, Section 82.191 of the Village of Mukwonago Municipal Code takes effect, and you will be issued a $10 parking citation. Also, please remember that you cannot overnight park on a County or State highway for more than 30 minutes between hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 pm during the winter months.
